Dr Matthew Kinsella General, Cosmetic & Implant Dentistry

Technology

Dental technology has made great advances over the years. Dr Kinsella utilises leading-edge equipment to make your dental procedures comfortable and efficient. You can learn a bit more here about the types of technology you can expect to find at our West Perth dental surgery.

Digital Records

Digital records make it easy for us to keep your information encrypted and safe. We can also easily access your health information and x-rays when we're discussing your treatment options with you.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays expose patients to up to 80 per cent less radiation than traditional films we took in the past. They are also immediately available for Dr Kinsella to look at and share with you so you can make important decisions about your dental health.

Because they require no harsh chemicals for development, digital x-rays are also safer for our environment.

EMS Airflow

Using warm water, fine powder and air, this revolutionary piece of technology allows our team to successfully remove plaque and harmful bacteria from the surfaces of your teeth. Being able to do our preventative care effectively, we are able to help reduce the chances of our patients needing major dental work.

Televisions in Treatment Rooms

At Dr Matthew Kinsella General, Cosmetic, & Implants Dentistry, we have televisions in all of our treatment rooms. This is partially for your entertainment, so you can watch your favourite show or movie and take your mind off of your dental treatment.

It is also so Dr Kinsella can share both x-rays and photos of your smile with you and discuss your treatment options. Seeing these images often helps our patients when they're deciding which treatment procedures are best for their smiles.

The Intraoral Camera

When you can see a full-colour picture of tooth decay or a cracked tooth, it is easier to understand why your tooth might need a dental filling or crown.

Our pen-sized camera fits inside your mouth so we can easily take and share pictures of your teeth with you to help you make the best decisions for your smile.
