Root Canal Treatment

Modern dentistry has made significant advances in technology over the years, and root canal treatment is no exception. Dr Kinsella's training and experience allow him to deliver root canal treatment that is both comfortable and efficient.

Root canals have received a bad reputation in the past because many people associate them with pain. However, it is actually an infection in your tooth that is causing your pain; root canal treatment relieves your discomfort while also eliminating your tooth infection.

During your root canal, Dr Kinsella will remove the infected tissue from inside your tooth, seal it with a temporary filling, and give it time to heal. After it is completely healed, he will rebuild your tooth with a permanent filling or dental crown. This will ensure that you can eat and chew the same ease you had before your tooth infection.

Most of our patients are surprised at how smooth and painless the process for getting a root canal is.

Your preventive teeth cleans and check-ups are a great way to detect tooth decay early on. Early detection means that you can treat it with a filling that prevents tooth decay from progressing and causing further damage or a tooth infection that requires root canal treatment.
